Established in 1993 by Dr. Jayant Mokashi, the first resident physician of Thane, Mokashi Nursing Home was founded with a clear mission — to provide affordable, ethical, and compassionate healthcare to the citizens of the Thane district. Beginning at the historic Pandit Hospital, which was one of the first multi-speciality hospitals in Thane, we have proudly carried forward a legacy of trust, integrity, and sincere service.

As a 15-bedded hospital, we believe excellence is defined not by size, but by sincerity, skill, and personal attention. Our smaller setting allows us to offer individualized care, direct access to doctors, and the reassurance families seek during vulnerable moments.

In 1993, uro-surgeon Dr. Atul Mokashi and Dr. Anita Mokashi joined the team, followed by anesthesiologist Dr. Ashwini Mokashi in 1998, further strengthening our multidisciplinary expertise while preserving our founding philosophy of transparent communication and rational treatment.
